I eat here quite a bit. Usually every couple of weeks or so. And it's generally for breakfast. The portions and always huge, and the prices are low. So when I came here for lunch, I kind of expected the same thing. I was sadly mistaken. Chicken fingers and fries are my go to at every cafe I eat. That was about the sorriest chicken finger meal I've ever seen. Pieces were tiny. You only get three of them. A tiny portion of fries. The service was friendly, but slow. Granted, it was a little busy. But it generally is. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast, but that's about all I can say for it.

Great food and service! Definitely good to their name - a classic place with a classic taste.. You can tell the food is fresh and hand made to order. We were served very fast too, I was impressed. Everyone is right about the portions, I left with food still on my plate!

I've never had anything here but the breakfast. It is the best it town! Affordable too. I love the chicken fried steak. just writing this review is making me hungry for it. The service is great and super fast.

Super friendly and nice service, prices extremely friendly too. Food was good. If u're in Cedar city this is the place:)

Visiting Zion and first time in Utah. This place has left us with a great taste in our mouth. Portion size is extra kind. Chicken sandwiches are mouthwatering and turkey was thick & juicy. The staff is completely attentive and desserts sweetened our tongues just perfectly. Coming back in morning for breakfast. Food and team great attitude, that's a rarity!

The food was good, not great. The chicken club was somewhat sweet-tasting. Hard to explain. My husband's roast beef was good, but he ordered mixed vegetables which were pretty bad. The coffee and coffee cake were yummy. Do not go if the temperature is 100 degrees or hotter. They cool the place with swamp heaters and it was very damp and hot the day we went--makes for an uncomfortable dining experience.

Just stopped here in way back from Bryce to California. So glad we opted for this instead of fast food. Food was excellent and not much more $ than fast food.

Dined Sunday morning, ~23 March 2014. Obviously a popular local spot. When I paid for the bill at the counter, the cashier asked, "You're not from around here, are ya??" lol. -Not at all, brotha! We were seated behind a group of a dozen locals - loud as all hell, we felt like we were part of the gang, hehe. Very friendly staff. We were seated immediately. We had an attentive and friendly server. I'd probably have to say it is the most patriotic place I've even been. The decor is a bit overboard - eagles, flags, etc. After a bit, I was surprised I wasn't eating from my plate with an eagle-sculpted fork.... THE PRICE IS RIGHT. We had a $4 breakfast, served in minutes. Eggs, meat, potatoes and toast for $4 - not a bad deal at all, but not great quality food, either. I'd rather pay more and have a better meal, though. Of note - Easily the worst coffee i've had in ages! I am a coffee fiend, love my dark roasts and exotic blends, but at the same time, i can't remember the last time I refused to drink from my cup (after tasting). Nothing like aching for a good cup of coffee after a sleepless night, and being TOTALLY disappointed.

Impressive American menu with great food. Prices are inexpensive for the food you receive. Service is super -- friendly and fast. Try mixing the ulti-meat omelette with the veggie omelette with no cheese and no sides for a fairly healthy no-carb meal. Also, it has wifi.

I'm not from Utah, so I don't know what the standard for service and food exactly is... I guess you get what you pay for. For $10, my husband and I both got 2 eggs, 2 bacon, hashbrowns, 2 slices of toast and 1 coffee. Good value, but the service was spotty. We never saw our server and our toast came halfway through our meal with no apologies. I wouldn't recommend the coffee, it tasted like sludge. The hashbrowns were undercooked, only one side was slightly browned and they didn't flip it to fry both sides. Also, the place wasn't exactly clean. As I waited for the single bathroom stall I had the most unpleasant experience with a local who refused to leave the bathroom and oddly, opened the door to let me in, but would not exit!! I guess she wanted to watch me use the toilet. Creepy!! She blocked the door so I couldn't leave and it took about 5 minutes of coaxing before she finally left... And I thought I had seen it all in Vegas. Lol!!

Ate dinner here on a Saturday night. It was pretty quiet and empty when I arrived around 7 pm but the restaurant started filling up a bit by the time I left. I enjoyed the meatloaf dinner special ($7.99) including 2 sides (mashed potatoes and a garden salad). The decor is a big gaudy--very patriotic, which goes with the "All-American" theme, but kind of fun for a small town diner. I was very impressed with the server, who waited on ALL the tables in the restaurant. She was fast, efficient, courteous, patient and got everyone's order just right. My brave husband ordered the liver and onions and they turned out to be quite good if you like liver. Convenient location if you are staying at the hotels on the south side of town. Nothing super special, but the food was tasty and the restaurant was clean though dated. Better than eating at Applebee's or Chili's if those are your other options.

My husband and I weren't impressed with this place at all and we can't understand why so many people rated it so well. The waitress was very nice but that's about it. We had meatloaf which was awful as it was over cooked, dry and tasteless. The mashed potatoes and gravy, made from scratch, were also tasteless. The malibu chicken was moist but was greasy, possibly from the ham. I certainly wouldn't recommend this place and feel there must be better restuarants in Cedar City to try.

The burgers are a little overcooked (as they are everywhere), but the fixings are good. The fresh-cut fries are not crispy at all. Service is very quick!

I have been to this place a few times (only thing open on Sunday) the food is usually just passable but my kids enjoy going And it's nice and loud so you won't bother anyone. The last time we went. We stood at the sign to be seating for almost ten mins. ( we were with a friend and she was very hungry so she just wanted to wait ). We could see they were very busy but not one person even said hi or we will be right with you. When a girl did come she said. Sit over there. Ummmm ok thanks :/ when she came to the table she was in a big hurry and never said sorry for the wait or anything. We ordered water and coffee. Soon after a very nice lady came to help us and we were very happy to have someone be nice. While we were talking to the nice lady , the busy one came back with the drinks and staring fighting with the nice lady that was her table and she was to have us. We said that we were starting to get stress because of the busy ladies manner and we came there to relax. So the rude young lady said , "You deal with them !" Then ran off. We will never go back again. Listen I know we all get busy and work is hard. But we are why you have a job. To take care of people and treat them well. We just walked out. I have never been treated like that when going somewhere to give away my money!! Hope she feels better and treats other customers with respect.

I am struggling with this review. My husband and I ate here while returning home and enjoyed our burgers a great deal. I had the All American Cheese burger minus the fry sauce that is ever present all over Utah and onion rings. My burger was cooked perfectly and finely seasoned. My husband ordered the Bacon Bbq burger. It had another name but I can't remember it now. He enjoyed it. His only complaint was that it had slightly too much sauce. Based on the food and the way it was prepared, I would give this place four stars for what it is. But....there are some things I cannot excuse and others I can. They have several signs up apologizing about the booths, stating new ones have been ordered and will be installed in late summer. No problem. The decor is All American for sure and I saw a pillow I loved. They need new carpet but I can tell they are trying to fix the place up. New paint in the bathroom, new booths. So maybe they could try cleaning what they do have currently in place. Our table setting had an empty sugar substitute container. I pulled it out to give to our server and it was grossly dirty. She brought it back filled the same way. The carpeted floor looks like they wipe the tables off onto it and wait until the end of the day to sweep it up. I used the restroom and while it appeared recently painted, like I previously stated, it was obvious that the sink and toilet had been "scrubbed at" as my father use to say. Or someone needs to get the sponge closer to the porcelain. It wasn't filthy but but there is a lack of care to the place that is disturbing. I asked for ranch dressing with my onion rings and was delivered a squeeze bottle to the table. Unfortunately it was at room temperature and since ranch is made with milk product and requires refrigeration I was out of luck. They also brought us fry sauce, which for those who don't know is ketchup and mayonnaise. Also at room temperature. I am glad I didn't order salad. So that is why I struggled. But I cannot give more than two stars to a place that casually does this. I did wait several hours to post this review, just in case. The prices are great though so take a chance, try a burger. Just check the temp on your fry dip, lol.

Classic American food! Very good! Very cheap and huge portions! Surprisingly impressed! Older dinner with a little wear but food and friendly service makes it all worth it!

The pancakes were actually very good, considering that they only offered your standard stack of plain. They offer a topping of bananas, strawberries and whip cream, but don't cook the fruit into the cakes (that may be a personal preference). I had my first experience with biscuits and gravy here and unless someone can convince me that these are supposed to taste different, it will likely be my last. It didn't help that they were lukewarm and that the biscuits tasted dry despite the gravy. The gravy itself was pretty flavorless. I asked to have the dish warmed, which helped, despite further drying of the biscuit with the microwave. Still, it tasted mostly of chicken broth. I added hot sauce to give it a little punch. The service was fantastic, but sorry ladies. It's all about the food.

We stopped at another place first, just because we like to try new things, but it was 11:05 and they stopped serving breakfast at 11:00. As inflexible as McDonald's! So, we left and headed back down to the far more accommodating All American Diner. I'm upgrading because there just wasn't anything wrong. This time, the hash browns were crispier, and there was strawberry jam. Total bill for a four item omelette, a sausage and egg breakfast, short stack of particularly light, fluffy large pancakes, and two coffees? $18 with tax. Hell, yeah. Judging from the oncoming lunch rush of locals as we were leaving at noon, the rest of the food must be pretty good, too. There is nothing fancy about this place, but they do "casual diner" just right.

  • Richard L.

Few reasons why we disliked the place... 1. Took about 15 minutes before anyone even asked if we need a table or talked to us at all. 2. It is not the family friendly for families with babies. There are no changing tables in both bathrooms. Nothing at all in case you have to change a diaper. 3. The servse was not very friendly and made us feel very rushed. 4. Prices on some items in the menu are pretty high up. Such as juice or milk for $2.49 a glass (no refills) or apple pie for $4.99 a slice. Just a few of the items that seem too pricey. However the food was good and we did in the end enjoy our self's. There were some speed bumps that really made it a OK dinner compared to a great time with family. Lastly, if you fix the problems for babies and work on being fast, nice and not rushing then it will be 5 stars from us.

This diner is very popular in Cedar City. I had the special burger of the day, which was a Texas barbecue burger. The patty had a nice grilled char, topped with mozzarella cheese, a crispy onion ring and bacon. It had a barbecue sauce. I got the sweet potato fries for an extra buck and was glad I did- crisp outside and tender inside. My husband had a lovely steak, cooked exactly as he ordered. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and efficient. She checked a few times to see if we were happy or needed anything. Prices typical for this type of restaurant- '$5.99-$12.99 for the dinner entrees. They serve everything on the menu all day, so breakfast is available any time And the food came out pretty fast too. We'll be back the next time we're in town for the Shakespeare Festival.

WOW! Great all American diner in old town USA! You walk in and this place bleeds Red, White and Blue! Love it!!! All American Diner sits on Main street in Cedar City a few blocks up from SUU and the Shakespere Festival. Service was top notch and incredibly friendly. Our waitress was happy, greeted us with a smile and took her time with us. Prices are very reasonable and for the most part, everything we ordered was freshly prepared. The mashed potatoes were just like what grandma used to make. There were 4 of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. Dad had the liver with the mashed and a cup of the soup of the day. He said it was

First of all good food, but service is horrible they never came to our table to ask for drinks we were about to leave but finally someone came we decided to give it a try. Also the cups were really dirty with even lipstick prints on the rim of the cup, when I asked if I could change it she was super rude and went talk about us with her coworkers.

The place is a little old and the AC doesn't work that great but the quality of the food makes up for it. I had the patty melt with mashed potatoes and gravy, the best I've had in a long time. The service is good and the staff is very friendly. Can't wait to try the breakfast.

Just a great place to eat, great food, service, and it won't break the bank. Breakfast all day for around five bucks and the open face roast beef sandwich is out of this world! Don't even get me started on dessert, the brownie is a meal in itself.

This diner we found on yelp. Great food, incredible prices. Large portions. Waitress was helpful with our left overs.

The food is good, not great, but the service is good and the portions are large enough to be shared by two people. And it's pretty inexpensive. Always packed full of people on the weekends, so go during the work week.

We had to wait a bit for someone to a knowledge us or get us seated.. It was not bz yet when we arrived. The carpet needed some tlc but overall, it was cozy. When we finally got seated, the server ( older brunette ) was so friendly, specially to my son. The food was ok, it wasn't anything i cant cook myself. There were nice big windows you can look out too and plenty of food on the menu. I think they need to narrow the menu down & put more pictures.

One of the best american place I've been so far. Came here to Utah with my boyfriend to visit his family and before hitting bryce canyon, we head to this place for breakfast. I got the chow line which is really super good. Didn't expect it to be super huge portion so I didn't finish everything. I had a full stomach after eating half of my meal. I had some hot chocolate too which really fits my taste. My boyfriend got pancakes and I took a bite of it and it was a delish. Service was really nice and a really high recommended place. High five for this place!

Shane B., On this visit, several in our party were so annoyed that we ended up going to IHOP. The problem was with the hostess, not the server. Nobody got her name, but I remembered her from last time. An older woman who gave a strong impression as being a smoker. Our visit was this last Tuesday at 1pm.

This is the most 'MURICAN place I've ever been!! They take patriotism to a whole new level. The food was good and cheap. I had pancakes with sausage and eggs, pretty solid. My buddy had French (freedom) Toast with bacon and said it was good. My friend noticed my t-shirt had big red star (commie) on it so I zipped my hoodie up right away to avoid possibly being shot by one of the many NRA members dining at this establishment. Overall I recommend this place. Good food, good price, good service and 'MURICA f*** yeah!!!!!!!

I've been coming to school in Cedar City for three years now and this is still my favorite place to eat. There's great burgers, chow line, and country fried steak! It has a very homey feel to it which is nice cause I've never been a huge fan of franchise restaurants!

  • Carolyn H.

We got here just in time before the Saturday morning breakfast rush. Food and service was excellent! Food arrived in minutes of taking our order. Large portions and great price! My husband, who enjoys a large breakfast, could barely finish the full order chow line. The half portion was perfect for me. Highly recommend the breakfast!

Pros: 1. If I were, God forbid, to black out choking on an egg white and wake up with temporary amnesia, at least I'd know exactly where I was: in the middle of the the greatest country on earth! My wife and I counted about 50 American flags and 30 eagles on the walls, and while we both agreed the place could use more eagles, it was just enough to stir up some pretty patriotic feelings as I enjoyed my omelette. 2. If you're a tourist looking to capture a genuine home-town dining atmosphere, you could do a lot worse than the All American. There's a great locals-only, small-town vibe here. You'll see lots of families, a few college kids, farmers, some dried out old chain smokers (the bowling-alley-at-noon crowd)--a little bit of everything that a place like Cedar City has to offer. 3. The food is adequate. I had the omelette, which consisted of what I believe were real eggs. My wife had the pancakes, which were better. We both had hash browns. Everything tasted like it had been backed right off the Sysco truck, perfectly adequate. 4. The food's affordable. Don't expect to spend more than a few bucks a meal. Cons: 1. I can't think of anything particularly bad to say about the All American. It's straight forward, middle American fare--the Ford Taurus of midday dining, if that Ford Taurus were plastered with bumper stickers thanking the troops and Jesus Christ. This place knows exactly what it is and isn't putting on any airs.

"Looks can be deceiving" My wife and I were so excited to try this place. She had told me it was the third highest reviewed/rated restaurant in Cedar City! Atmosphere: From the outside the location is easy to get to; right off the main road. The building itself looks slightly rustic on the outside and even more once you walk in; actually, more dirty than rustic. The carpet was littered with food, mashed potatoes were rubbed into the carpet, ceilings were grimy, and the bathroom....well, let's not go there. Food: The prices are very low, and for a good reason. I ordered a mixture of breakfast goodies all piled onto a plate called the "Chow Line", absolutely smothered with gravy, and my wife ordered the open faced turkey sandwich. Hers came with cubed, extra salty turkey and a salty brown, packaged gravy. I don't understand how you can call what she ordered an open face turkey sandwich. Mine was okay, wasn't really bad but still had cubed turkey and/or ham..couldn't really tell, it was all too processed; the gravy didn't taste scratch made...or the potatoes, or anything else for that matter. One should expect a place like this to be "King of scratch made". Service: Service seemed preoccupied and very busy; so busy I almost walked out of the restaurant without paying (totally accidentally), then realized the mistake I was about to make. I promptly turned back to the counter and waited a few minutes to pay. Overall, The rustic charm of what has the potential to be a great roadside diner seems all but present in the "All American Classic Diner". i wouldn't be surprised if this place ended up on "Restaurant Impossible". A good redecorating, cleaning both inside and out and stepping up the quality of ingredients might help, but for now I think that's all folks.

If you're looking for typical diner food than All-American should do you right. The food is average except the burgers, they're really good. The ladies that work here are pretty nice also. As a former server I appreciate restaurant workers that hustle and still greet and take care of their customers. The patriotism of the establishment is quite admirable also. They represent freedom, the USA, and democracy well. I like the copy of the Declaration of Independence they have hung on the wall.

The classic American diner. The portions are great and the prices are even better. The breakfast is my favorite. It has that comfy/homey feel to it the reminds you of your childhood. Oh, the food is also great too!

Great service, friendly atmosphere and yummy classic diner breakfast! I ordered a breakfast scramble with eggs, cheese, green peppers, and onions along with the skillet potatoes and sour dough toast. The eggs and potatoes were cooked to perfection (crispy but not overcooked). I loved that the food didn't have salt or pepper on it so I could decide how much salt I wanted. The toast was thick and had a good chewy texture. The portions were gigantic, I couldn't eat half of what I ordered. The ladies that worked there checked to make sure we were good on coffee almost every 5 minutes. Our waitress was attentive and asked several times how we were doing or if we needed anything. Our food came out fairly fast, despite the large crowd in the diner. I'll definitely stop there again when I'm down in Cedar City again.

We wanted breakfast after 11 and we got it. Huge tasty French toast slices, crispy hash browns, large ham slices, and coffee. The All American diner is exactly that. Locals, college students, bikers and cowboys in cowboy hats all enjoying a meal. The service was friendly and quick. The ambiance super casual and the noise levels chatter loud. Will definitely be back next time we're in Cedar City.

Humongous portions, good price! Would definitely come again. Passing through Southern Utah on our way to Bryce and then parts north. We went looking for a place to eat on a Sunday night, not an easy thing in Cedar City. This place was open and we went in. I'd been craving ham steak and eggs ever since we passed Virgin River on our way in from Southern Cal. Didn't stop then since the kid was asleep. The waitress recommended theirs and it more than fit the bill! The ham steak was absolutely huge, and only $8.99. My kid had the open faced turkey sandwich and loved it. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all offered all day. I think our food took a little longer because I ordered breakfast for dinner, but the food was excellent once it arrived. The waitress was friendly and checked in several times. This place beats fast food by a country mile. For the price of a burger and fries you can have a real and hearty meal. I don't know when I'll be going to Southern Utah again, but this place is definitely on the "re-visit" list.

Come here a lot cause the food cheap but it's pretty good. Been here a couple times on Saturdays & it gets really busy. It's better on weeknights unless maybe you're from here and want to bump into a bunch a neighbors! Amazing USA ambience will make you proud to be an American. Check it out! P.s. My boyfriend says the pepper here is ridiculous. You might want to consider bringing your own pepper UPDATE: AACD is under renovation! please excuse their booths, but the good news is they renovated their pepper supply!! no more need to BYOP.

My boyfriend and I went here last night and the decor was warm and classic. It made us feel good to see that the place was packed with customers plus our friends had gone there before us so it gave us a pretty good image that it would be amazing. Unfortunately for me, I ordered their 8 oz sirloin and ordered it medium rare, but what I got was something that was barely cooked and still bleeding and the potatoes I got were blanned and nasty. Our waitress was awesome but unfortunately the food was a serious let down. My boyfriend said his country fried steak was pretty good but other than that it wasn't something that any of us would love to have again. It's times like this that makes me sad that the western had closed as soon as it did. For every time that I went there the food was amazing. I just hope that this place can find some passion to make better food for a "classic all American diner"

Delicious!!!! Wow what a great breakfast after a nice trip to end the Summer. The "Pig Out". Perfect breakfast for those in need of a great meal loaded with some fine swine. All the portions were huge. Try the French toast too. Crowded and a little small but some of the best breakfast in town. Definitely diner style. Service was excellent and never needed anything. Our waitress was on top of everything. Great job!!! We'll be back. Thanks!

I describe it to my friends as "slightly higher quality than Denny's but with twice the portions at a third the price." The atmosphere is dingy and the food is so-so but I keep coming back for the value. There's no better bang for your buck if you're looking for a bargain. They also have smaller portion options and unlike most places they actually lower the prices for these, logically, rather than raise them!

Was told this was a local diner with good food and large quantities. It was that as well as a hit for the 4 kids in our party who all got something different and were happy. When we arrived they were quite busy with the two wait staff obviously trying to do their best as it appeared they were short a host/cashier. I was a little concerned that we may have made a bad choice and would suffer in the service. But the two professionals handled the crowd with orders the hosting and the cashiering as professionals and we never felt neglected or that the service was lacking. The food was on time, good and service was very good as well. It is obvious that this local eatery has regular clientele and a good reputation in town. I would go there again without question.

We asked the lady at the hotel what was the best restaurant in town ?? She told us about this place so we had dinner. There was 7 of us and we had a great time!! Great service and great food. So we came back the next morning and I had the biscuits & grave, it's the best!! Line out the door but everyone was promptly taken care of!!

Home town cooking at its finest. The food is good, the portions are not able to be finished by mere mortals. My wife had the "value" meal thinking it would be smaller portions. Maybe, it was smaller but comparatively to most places, it was still huge. The bacon? Out of this world! The biscuits and gravy were under seasoned, but nothing salt-and-pepper couldn't fix. Overall two thumbs up and I look forward to eating there again.

Friends on vacation, headed to St. George. Stopped for dinner here and what a great decision this was. Waitress was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent home cooked style. Some had the salmon, some breakfast. We were well fed and the cost was super for the amount of food served. We will stop again.

Fast, friendly, homey service. Large breakfasts for very little money. Had 2 eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns for $3.99. Partner had an omelette, Had to take half in a to go box it as so big, $6.99. Only complaint is they make really lousy coffee at $1.50 a cup. I would go back but stick to water or juice for a beverage. The place was busy as all get out from 9 - 10:15. If you can, do not sit along the first left or right row near were the clients line up to be seated. Prices excellent for large meal. Meat in the Philly cheese was dry as was the French dip. The potato salad and Cole slaw was solid. Breakfast food was above average. Had to ask for the toast twice. The seats are ripped severely but management has signs up stating they will be replaced. Points for value. Points for service which was fast and friendly despite asking for the toast. Minus a point for the seats dilapidated appearance. Good place for a hungry college student or hardworking person.

One of the best places to eat in Cedar City! We've never had anything we didn't like. I usually get the the turkey club on sourdough, the steak, country fried steak, bagel sandwich, or 2 egg breakfast. Service is great and welcoming, usually super quick! Prices are great! I don't think any where else in town can beat them! I always bring out of town guests here. I only give it 4 stars because they said they were going to replace their booths but didn't, they're in desperate need. And, I wish the place was cleaner overall it could really use a nice deep cleaning.

Just visiting from SF. Very simple diner, very simple food. Everything seems like very little effort was exerted in its creation, from the peeling upholstery and worn chairs, to the processed vegetable sides and the chicken soup with spaghetti noodles and scrap meat. However, the service was very friendly and quick. The food, while nothing special, was very tasty. The whole restaurant, from the ambiance to the food, was true to its name--wholly All-American. We got away with only $8 per person, and parking was freely available (though a bit awkward).

Wow, really underwhelmed by this place. We stopped by on our roadtrip through Utah. I saw that this place was well-reviewed on Yelp so that made our decision for us. Now having gone I'm not sure what the good reviews are for- low expectations? Is the competition in Cedar City much worse than this? The Diner itself is rather dark and dirty. It appeared that no one had vacuumed in a while as there were straw wrappers and bits of napkin on the floor. Our waitress was attentive but not terribly friendly. My husband had the open face beef sandwich while I ordered a patty melt. We were both in the mood for some rib-sticking comfort food but were both disappointed by our bland, flavorless meals. We ended up requesting hot sauce just to get something out of the food. We didn't stick around Cedar City afterwards but I have to believe that there are better dining options there.

We decided upon here thanks too Yelp and were not disappointed. The ladies there were so friendly and helpful and even the patrons were recommending dishes. I had a stuffed burger which was delicious. The meat was so juicy and flavorful and it was really filled to the brim. The only downside was the bun was too small so it was easier to eat with a knife and fork instead. I also tried their cooked vegetables from my dad's plate. They were very buttery and had a great seasoning salt on them. Their portions are huge too. Overall, this is a great casual dining spot if you're in the area.

Friendly, fast and tasty. My kids got the silver-dollar pancakes and Belgian waffles. My husband and I split the chicken fajita omelette (jack cheese, peppers, chicken), which was served with toast and hash browns. He ordered a side of bacon and we split a side of cottage cheese. It was plenty of food and we didn't leave feeling like we'd go into a food coma...which is helpful when you have a four hour drive ahead of you. We'd stop here again, for sure.

Solid Breakfast place. Huge portions, fast service, food comes quickly out of the back. The servers are overly friendly if you are a regular and could care less if you aren't but they do move fast. The Omelets were big, 4 eggs. My niece got the build your own and was only able to get through half. I had the Signature Dish "Chowline". Which was a basic everything scramble covered with gravy. It could have used more seasoning, and definitely more gravy for my taste but Given that I was in a small town, It was definitely a good solution to the where do I go for breakfast.

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, and this place was pretty full. It was recommended to us by a local, so we were pretty hopeful. When we walked in I noticed a generally unappealing musty kind of smell, but shrugged it off. After we were seated, I started noticing how dirty the restaurant was. Everything was really old. Duct tape on the seats, greasy, gunked up condiment containers on the table, ratty carpet, hideous eagle//flag statuettes all over the place, dust, and god knows what else in the nooks, and crannies. There was also a pretty good amount of flies buzzing around. Most of the restaurants in town were closed, so we stayed, and ordered some food. We regretted that decision pretty quickly. Everything we got looked, and tasted awful. Most of the food looked like it came out of the freezer (and microwave), and wasn't even heated all the way through. The country potatoes were straight up gray, and the hash browns were so over-cooked that they were goopy on the inside. I imagine that prison food looks more appealing than what we were served. At one point a couple of flies literally started humping in the middle of our table. We ended up eating a couple bites of food each, and leaving hungry. How this place stays open, maintains its rating, and amount of clientele is seriously beyond me.

Thanks!

We got here just in time before the Saturday morning breakfast rush. Food and service was excellent! Food arrived in minutes of taking our order. Large portions and great price!

  • Kendra N.

My family and I stopped here on our way to Yellowstone and enjoyed a quick breakfast/lunch. The staff were very friendly and the prices were great! The breakfast I ordered wasn't out of this world but I also have no complaints. Cute little place.

Impressive American menu with great food. Prices are inexpensive for the food you receive. Service is super -- friendly and fast. Try mixing the ulti-meat omelette with the veggie omelette with no cheese and no sides for a fairly healthy no-carb meal. Also, it has wifi.

Low budget mom and pop place. Onion rings are great! BLT wrap was good.
